Stephanie - Yeah, if we weren't renting right now (we'll be buying the house when they're ready to sell, but that won't be for at least 18 more months), I would send you photos of our kitchen. I love most of it, but the owners made it so stinking dark. We also have dark wood paneling in the living room and they are HUGE fans of brass fixtures and we have vertical blinds in the living room. I have a ton of ideas for when we finally do get to buy it, but until the deal is done...we can't do any major changes.July 12, 2010 - 10:20 am

Maggie - I'm a friend of Kim Jamieson... I saw pictures of her at a baby shower, clicked through to the album {loved your style} and somehow ended up on your blog. I would love a room makeover because your style is exactly what I have in my head... but for some reason I'm not making it happen in my own house. Our living room is huge & is open to the dining room. There are 4 big windows, a huge fireplace. Our biggest obstacle is making it a comfortable tv room and a sylish living room. Christine Kirk - I love the kitchen and hope you can help us! My roommate and I are moving into a bigger apartment and we don't have very much to decorate or furnish it with (our place now is already furnished). It will be almost empty and I want to make it feel as homey as possible without costing a lot! So I guess I would ask you to makeover our living room (beige carpet and walls).
